Developing a Self-Care Routine

We all hear that developing a self-care routine is important for mental health, but what does that actually mean? How do you truly put tangible actions in place to promote self-care?

Self-Care Activities
Self-care is essential for recharging and maintaining emotional balance.

Engage in activities that promote relaxation and self-care. This could include taking a warm bath, reading a book, practicing a hobby or listening to music. If something makes you feel at peace, then it counts as a self-care activity! Everyone is different, so the key is to find what relaxes and de-stresses you personally.

Adequate Sleep
Quality sleep is crucial for mental and emotional health.

Establish a consistent sleep routine, create a restful environment and aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night.
